Lead is harmful when its amounts in food are higher than the optimum. Plants with high levels of lead may trigger generation reactive oxygen species and eventually cell death. Our study aimed to assess distribution rice plant leaves planted Sukawening Village, Jatinangor District, West Bandung Regency, Java. The were collected each month until 4 months. samples dried underwent wet destruction. Visible spectrophotometry addition xylenol orange was employed identify metal samples, followed by a standard photometric titration method. results indicated that identified since 1 old as proven Pb-xylenol peak at 580 nm. level were: 1st (0.4118 mg/kg); 2nd (0.5232 3rd (0.6206 4th (0.5264 mg/kg). We concluded plants range required Verdict Director General National Agency Drug Food Control No. 03725/B/SK/89 about Maximum Limit Heavy Metal Contamination Food.
